I'm the Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of Okta, the public enterprise software company I helped build into a multi-billion-dollar category leader, and the Founder and Managing Partner of 515 Ventures (early-stage) and Windproof Partners (growth-stage), through which I back and advise leading startups including Chainguard, ClickHouse, Cyera and Decagon.
I'm the author of Zero to IPO, a Wall Street Journal bestselling book on building and scaling disruptive technology startups, and I co-founded the neurotherapeutics company Herophilus, acquired by Genentech/Roche.
I teach Entrepreneurship at UC Berkeley Haas and serve as a Trustee of the MIT Corporation. I received a BS in Computer Science from Stanford and an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from MIT Sloan.
