Dido Harding.

With over 30 years of leadership and senior business experience spearheading large, complex physical and digital consumer facing organisations through change and exponential growth, I bring these decades of experience to my role as a Conservative life Peer and non-executive work in the digital, health and not for profit sectors.

I started my career at McKinsey before spending two decades building my retail and consumer expertise across Thomas Cook, Kingfisher, Tesco and Sainsburys. In 2010, I became CEO of TalkTalk, where I led the creation of a single listed company with revenue and market cap of £1.8bn.

I have further career experience in the health sector, chairing NHS Improvement and Genomics England and a senior role at Mind Gym. I was proud to serve as Executive Chair, NHS Test and Trace as part of the UK Government’s response to the COVID pandemic.

I entered the House of Lords in 2014 where I focus on issues of technology, business, the digital economy, online safety and competition. I have held non-executive roles at the Bank of England and currently serve as the Senior Steward of The Jockey Club.
